Client stories

In their own words

Three people who came to us for different reasons, and what changed.

After my third round of IT-band pain, Maren found it was my hip, not my knee. Six weeks on, I ran the Boulder Backroads half marathon without thinking about it once.

Portrait of Hannah Brandt, a smiling woman in athletic wear Hannah Brandt

I had migraines twice a week for years. Lin’s acupuncture and Priya’s food plan worked together, and now I get about one a month. They actually talk to each other.

Portrait of Marcus Tran, a smiling man wearing glasses Marcus Tran

I joined for the Monday yoga and stayed for everything else. The Wellness plan means I never put myself last on the list, and my shoulders have thanked me.

Stories shared with permission. Everyone’s experience is different, and results can’t be guaranteed.

Your first visit

What to expect

New patients tell us they expected a clinic and found something closer to a conversation. Here’s how the first hour goes.

Worth bringing

  • Photo ID and insurance card, if using coverage
  • A list of medications and supplements
  • Any scans, reports or surgical notes
  • Comfortable clothes you can move in
  1. Settle in

Arrive ten minutes early. We’ll offer tea, a quiet seat and a short intake form, which you can also complete online before you come.

  2. Be heard

Your practitioner spends the first part of the visit simply listening: your history, your goals, what a good week looks like for you.

  3. Assessment and first treatment

A gentle, thorough exam, followed by treatment in the same visit. Nothing happens without your consent, and you can pause at any moment.

  4. Leave with a plan

You’ll go home with a clear next step: how often to return, what to do between visits, and whether a colleague should join your care.

Insurance & HSA

Clear about cost, before you book

Insurance

Physiotherapy is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare. Acupuncture is billed to plans that include it. We’ll verify your benefits and quote your cost before your first visit.

HSA & FSA

All four services are eligible for HSA and FSA payment with a letter of medical necessity, which your practitioner is happy to provide. We accept every major HSA/FSA card.

Self-pay & superbills

Prefer to pay directly? Rates are listed above. We’ll give you an itemised superbill after each visit to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

Coverage varies by plan; this is not a guarantee of benefits. Call us on (303) 555-0148 and we’ll check yours.

Questions

Good to know

Can’t find your answer? Call us on (303) 555-0148 and a real person will pick up.

Do I need a referral or a diagnosis?

No. You can book any service directly. If your insurance plan requires a referral for physiotherapy, we’ll tell you before your first visit and help you get one.

Which service should I start with?

Try the three-question helper above, or book our free 15-minute phone consult. Whoever you see first will coordinate with the rest of the team if another discipline could help.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours ahead at no cost. Later cancellations are charged half the session fee. We’re understanding about illness and emergencies.

Are the classes suitable for beginners?

Yes. Both gentle yoga and breathwork are designed for all levels, including people recovering from injury. Tell your teacher about anything you’re working with and they’ll offer options.

Can I pause or cancel a membership?

Any time. Give us 7 days’ notice before your monthly renewal and there are no fees or penalties. You can also pause for up to two months a year if you’re travelling or recovering.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing you can move in. For massage and acupuncture we’ll explain what to remove, and you’ll always be draped or covered. Your comfort comes first.

Do you treat teenagers?

We see patients aged 14 and over. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign consent and be present for the first visit.
